CHC President Professor Toula Onoufriou Winner of the EGYPS 2020 “Women in Energy Leadership” Award

Toula Onoufriou, the President of Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company and Professor at the Cyprus University of Technology, has been bestowed the “Women in Energy Leadership” award for the Mediterranean and North Africa regions during the EGYPS 2020 Conference and Exhibition in Cairo, Egypt.
The awarding ceremony took place on the 13th of February 2020 in the presence of Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources Mr Tarek El Molla and the Minister of Environment Ms Yasmine Fouad. The award is in recognition of Professor Onoufriou’s contribution to the Energy industry, academia, public sector and her efforts on enhancing regional collaboration on Energy-related matters. The regional select jury which assessed all the nominations for the EGYPS 2020 awards included twelve high-level industry executives and academics from the region.
