As part of the company’s efforts to promote sustainability and environmental awareness in Cyprus, CHC took part in a tree-planting event in Solea Valley, helping in the reforestation efforts following the forest fire which burned over 17km2 in June 2016. The event took place as part of the National Tree Week, with participation from local administration and schools, the Forest Department, foreign ambassadors and the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Mr Nicos Kouyalis.
The CHC executive team, accompanied by friends and family who also volunteered for the day, planted over 50 trees in the Ayios Theodoros area.
